Remembrance Day 2016

Lest We Forget

A special thank you to Lt. Colonel Taylor for visiting our Grade 4 class to talk about his amazing experiences in the Canadian Military.  Michaela did a wonderful job explaining about the work her Dad does!

An inspiring quote from Lt. Colonel Taylor:
"Find your passion and follow it.  Never stop learning."

Thank you to all our veterans and current military for their service.  God Bless You.

You Are the Light of the World!

Our Grade 6s have been exploring the meaning and significance of fire and light as symbols of those who follow Christ.  Over the past few weeks, we have been talking about he symbol of light and of the lantern as a class symbol while making our own lanterns.
